Primacoustic London 10 Kit - Paintable

In an untreated room, what you're hearing is flutter echo, reflections, standing waves, and other acoustic anomalies that will make a considerable impact on the quality of your recordings and what you're mixing. The Primacoustic London 10 room kit is designed for rooms up to 12m2 (120 sq feet), or can be combined with other products to treat larger spaces. In addition to acoustic panels, each London 10 room kit includes the corresponding mounting hardware and instructions for easy installation.

In a lively room, you really don't have any idea of how much reverb to add to your mix. The eight Scatter Blocks in the London 10 room kit are usually installed behind the listening position to help disperse flutter echo(what you hear when you clap in your untreated room) by absorbing some of the sound energy, but also allowing some to reflect back. It all means a more natural sound in your normal monitoring position.

The longer Broadway panels are made from high-density 6lb per cubic foot (96 kg/m³) fiberglass, offering nearly five times greater absorption than typical low-cost foam alternatives. This means that you get more absorption with fewer panels, while assuring an even absorption curve throughout the frequency range. The London 10 room kit is available in black, beige or grey fabric or in Absolute White™ paintable finish.

Primacoustic Paintables are an innovative acoustic panel range that features a specially formulated textured latex surface that may be repainted on-site to match the color scheme and decor of your room or facility.

The design begins with the same high performance 6lb per cubic foot (96 kg/m³) glass-wool panel that is used in the popular Broadway series panels. Like Broadway, the Paintables are fully encapsulated with a woven fiberglass mesh and feature resin hardened edges to create sharp, architecturally appealing lines. Rather than wrapping the panel in fabric, the face and edges of the Paintable are coated in a textured latex finish that is porous and breathable. The balanced formulation enables the panels to be spray-painted without affecting the acoustic performance. This means that the end user can decide upon the final color without having to compromise by choosing a particular fabric or allows the acoustical engineer to leave the final color choice to the architect, thus streamlining the decision making process and installation.

Paintables ship in an attractive Absolute White™ finish and are available in a variety of sizes. This makes them perfectly suitable for both large scale and small room installations including house-of-worship, airports, home theater, offices, call centers, board rooms, restaurants, video conferencing rooms, broadcast facilities and recording studios of all sizes.
