The BT50S-2 controller allows for hands-free control over various apps and software, just like it’s big sisters Airturn Pedpro and Duo. Though a key difference is its style. The BT500S-2 boasts a traditional stomp box design, perfect for those using pedal boards – it even takes a 9v power supply. The quiet steel switches provide a responsive feel but with little to no sound. When using this controller, one of the first things you will notice is how sturdy it is. Making sturdy Bluetooth controllers can be hard as metal cases can interfere with radio signals.

 

Built from heavy-duty polymer, the BT500S-2 case avoid this issue completely, without missing strength. It also has anti-skid control on the base for stage floors.

 

The Airturn BT500S-2 boasts an excellent battery life. Its rechargeable battery provides 150-200 hours of playtime and you can even use a 9v power supply. It also has a power saving feature – automatically turning off when the host tablet or computer is switched off. This means those on tours or in long ensembles won’t need to worry about their controller running out of juice anytime soon.
