All the high-end detail when it gets to your pre-amp

The Rode NTR is an active ribbon microphone designed for studio use, which is great, but here's the thing with the NTR.  This ribbon microphone's high-frequency balance is stunning, so it reaches your mic pre with all of the high-frequencies still present...all there like it's already been EQ'd in the studio. Because of that, the NTR gives you a far more usable sound than most of the other ribbon microphones on the market.
