Softube Plug-insPublished on: Tuesday, 6th March 2012An iLok arrived via mail with a quick note: “Softube plug-ins, need the iLok back”. Can do, no worries. I have never worked with the Softubes for no particular reason. I guess I just didn’t feel the need to look for new effects as I am already equipped with an exhaustive selections of plug-ins. My idea is to work on a mix that I finished recently. So I dig up the Pro Tools session on my hard-drive and remove all previous plug-ins. All faders to unity, erase all automation - a clean start. The finished mix is the benchmark, lets see how far I get with Softube plug-ins only and a pair of headphones. |
